Odd Pawn Contest

California Loan & Jewelry is once again celebrating the weird and wonderful with its second annual Odd Pawn Contest. Having been in business for over 100 years, the staff at Cal Loan has certainly seen a lot – but they know they haven’t seen it all. Some people call them collectibles.  Others call them “conversation starters.” Maybe it’s that pocket watch from the 1930s that you inherited from Uncle Charlie. Or that collection of Pez dispensers you found at a garage sale in Salinas. Or a mechanical toy that somehow survived your childhood. If it’s weird enough, first place is worth $300!But get busy – the contest ends at noon, May 16.
